제례를 한글로 소개하기

제례는 유교 관습의 하나인데, 사람이 죽으면 그 자손이나 친지가 슬픔 속에서 장사를 지내고, 매년 돌아가신 날이나 명절에 조상의 은덕을 추모하고 조상에 대한 존경과 애모의 뜻을 기념하는 것이 제사이다. 제사를 지낼 때에는 형편에 따라, 특히 고인이 생전에 좋아하던 음식 등 여러 가지 음식을 마련하여 제사상에 올린다.

Jerye (ritual ceremony) is one of the Confucian customs. When a member of a family passes away, the bereaved family performs a funeral in deep grief. Once every year of the same day, or on gala days like Chuseok or the New Year's day, the bereaved family and their relatives make a sacrificial rite in memory of the deceased. According to their living conditions, the family prepares foods, mainly favored by the deceased when he/she was alive. On the ritual day, the family members and their relatives dress up in Korean dresses and perform a rite in front of the table set up with the food prepared.

祭礼は儒教慣習の一つである祭礼は人が亡くなるとその子孫や親戚は悲しみの中で葬儀を終え、毎年亡くなられた日とか節句に先祖の恩徳を追慕し称えるのが祭礼すなわち祭司である。祭司は各家庭のそれぞれの都合に合わせて行うが特に故人に生前好まれていた食べ物などを丹念に用意する。

祭礼，是儒教习惯的一种，人们去世后，他的子孙或是亲戚寄托哀悼的葬事。是在每年祖先去世的日子里或者在节日里追慕祖上的恩德和表达对祖上的尊敬和爱慕的祭祀。祭祀的时候形式多种多样，特别是准备故人生前喜欢的食品等，在祭祀上全部供奉。
