한옥을 한글로 소개하기

한옥에는 기와집과 초가집이 있는데, 기와집은 잘 부순 찰흙으로 가로, 세로 약 20~30cm, 두께 약 2~3cm의 모양으로 만들어, 그늘에 말려서 불에 구운 기와로 지붕을 이은 것이고, 초가집은 볏짚이나 밀짚, 갈대 등을 엮어서 지붕을 이은 것이다. 한옥의 구조는 주인마님이나 여성들이 사용하는 안채, 남성들이나 응접용으로 사용하는 사랑채, 곡식을 저장하는 곳간 그리고 부엌, 마루 등으로 구성되어 있다. 한옥은 여름에는 시원하고 겨울에는 따뜻한 것이 장점이다.

 

 

 

한옥을 영어로 소개하기

Hanok means the Korean style house. The roofs are generally made of the tiles or straws. The tile-roofed house is called a Giwajib. Giwa(tile) is made of clay, well-smashed. The clay is made into a 20-30cm square panel with 2-3cm thick shapes and then dried in the shades. Then, the panels are baked in the fire and Giwa is completed.

The straw-roofed house is called Chogajib. Chogajib is made of the rice straws, wheat straws, or reeds. Hanok is composed of Anchae (for the house wife or the female members of the family), Sarangchae (for the master of the house and for the guests) and Gotgan (storage for grains), Besides, there are the kitchen and Maru (corridor made of wood planks). By using natural materials like the soil, dry plants and wood, Hanok is cool in summer and warm in winter.

韓屋には瓦の屋根のと藁屋根の二種類があるがその構造は、奥方や女性の利用するアンチェ（母屋）、客間に用いる主人のサランチェ（居間）、穀物を貯蔵する倉、そして台所や緑側などになっている。韓屋は涼しく、冬は暖かいという特徴がある。

韩屋分瓦家和草家，瓦家是用和好的黏土做横量，纵长20-30厘米，厚2-3厘米的模样做成，在阻凉处晒干，然后在火里烤灼成瓦片作为屋顶，草家是由冠子或麦子的叶子，芦苇等打编成屋顶。韩屋的构造是由主妇或女性们使用的内屋，或是男性迎接用的外屋，还有贮藏谷物的空间以及厨房，地板所构成。韩屋有冬暖夏凉的特点。
