서울은 이성계가 조선왕조를 건국하면서(1392년) 도읍으로 정한 곳으로써 600년의 역사를 가진 도시이다. 서울은 현재 한국의 수도로서 정치, 경제, 문화, 군사, 교통의 중심지이면서, 1988년에는 올림픽 도시로 부상하였다. 서울은 인구 천만명이 넘는 거대도시로서 고궁, 박물관 등 역사유적이 많으며, 명동, 동대문시장 등 다양한 쇼핑장소가 있고, 근교에는 민속촌, 에버랜드 등 위락 장소도 풍부하다.

Seoul became the capital city of Korea when Yi Seong-Kye, established the Choseon dynasty in 1392 and has remained so for the last 600 years. As a capital city, Seoul is the center of the politics, economics, cultures, military and business of Korea. In 1988, the city was the center of the Olympic Games. This huge city has population of ten million people. Also Seoul has many historical sites such as the old palaces and museums and the city also has various shopping areas such as Myeongdong and Dongdaemun Market as well as some amusement parks like the Folk Village and Ever land.

ソウルは李成桂が朝鮮王朝を建国してから都として定めたところで、600年の歴史を持っている都市である。ソウルは今韓国の首都で、政治、経済、文化、軍事、交通の中心地でありながら1988年にはオリンピックが開かれた。ソウルは人口1000万人を超える巨大都市として古宮、博物館など、歴史的な遺跡が多いし、明洞、東大門市場などのショッピングの所だけではなく、近郊には民俗村、エバーランドなどの慰楽施設もたくさんある。

汉城是韩国朝鲜王朝（1392年）古都，因此到处充满了600年以前的历史文物和古迹的大城市，汉城，作为现在韩国的首都可以说是政治，经济，文化，军事，交通的中心地，1988年成为奥运匹克都市。汉城是人口1000万以上的大都市，有很多故宫，博物馆等遗迹。有明洞，东大门市场等，各种购物场所，在近郊也有很丰富的民俗村，爱宝乐园等的娱乐场所。
